I have the best little girl any mom could ask for. Yesterday after finding Elizabeth in her swing all balled up I knew I had to get her to sleep in her crib. So, when it was time for her morning nap I put her in her crib and let her fuss until she fell asleep. I did that for her afternoon nap as well. When it was time for bed I put her in her crib and she started crying. I went in after 5 minutes, held her hand and told her that she needed to sleep in her crib--no more swing. She cried another 10 minutes and then gave up. After about 10 minutes of laying there she finally put herself to sleep. Today, I have put her in her crib awake and she plays with her blanket for a few minutes and then quickly falls asleep with no fuss. I am so proud of her. She is such a wonderful baby, with the sweetest disposition. I am so lucky to have her.

Restless Sleep
Elizabeth has been a real restless sleeper the past couple of days. We went in this morning and found her in this position. She was also sleeping like this at 2:30 this morning when she woke us up. Somehow, someway I have to get her to sleep on her back in her crib. She is outgrowing her swing. I am so glad I had her buckled in, she probably would have wiggled her way out.

In the Pool
We went swimming today. It was the first time Elizabeth has spent any time in the water. At first she wasn't quite sure about it, but once she got over the initial shock, she loved it.

Thank You
Thank you to those who have left comments on Elizabeth's blog. Each month I print out the posts and comments so Elizabeth has a hard copy to look back on. It has been a lot of fun to post the pictures and watch her grow. Please continue to write.

Working from home
Jeremy hurt his back yesterday, so he was home all yesterday afternoon and is working from home today. Elizabeth is happy as a clam to play on the bed beside him. It works out great for me.

Playtime Mom, Not Sleep Time
After Elizabeth eats breakfast in the morning she goes back down and sleeps for an hour. Not today. She is in her room talking and gabbing away. Last night we went to a church dinner and they had Samoan dancers. She loved watching them and would squeal at the music. It was great.

My Hat
I bought Elizabeth this hat in April, but it was too big for her head and kept sliding down into her face. It fits perfect now. Aunt Jeremy sent her the cute outfit for Easter.

Happy Fathers Day!
Happy Fathers Day. Elizabeth put on quite a show in church this morning. She loves being in Primary with all the kids. Jeremy loves being a Dad. His favorite is to get Elizabeth up first thing in the morning. She is all smiles and ready to start the day at 6 am. We love having her in our life.

Back To Normal
Elizabeth really struggled with the rice cereal. I don't think her stomach is ready for it quite yet. She would constantly moan and want to be held. She was also pretty constipated. Today has been much better. She is content and happy to play on the floor again. She hasn't wanted to do that for a week.

Toning my Abs
Elizabeth has really good neck and leg control. She can hold her head up off the ground for 10-15 seconds at a time. She wants to sit up so badly.

Jumparoo
Daddy put together a new toy for Elizabeth. She has been begging to sit up more. She loves being able to see what's happening, so this will be perfect for her. Now she can see me working in the kitchen. Notice that we had to put a book underneath her so she could use her feet. She is not quite tall enough.

My Bath
When I combed Elizabeth's hair, I combed it so it would stick straight up. It is still like that this morning. She is really tired and ready to go to bed in this picture.
