Look What Grandpa Brought Home!

A Bike! It is still a little big, but I have a great time when Mommy pushes me.

Pavement vs Grass

Most kids like playing on the grass. Not Elizabeth. Pavement and concrete are more her style. It is easier to walk on pavement, and concrete curbs are fun to sit on. I took Elizabeth to the church building to play in the grass while Grandma Johnson worked in the library. I had visions that we would chase each other around and kick the ball. Nope. She didn't want anything to do with grass. It must be the Arizona in her.

Drawing Daddy a Picture

We sent Daddy a package today, so Mommy had me draw him a picture. This is my first time using the markers Grandpa Olsen gave me. I had a great time making the picture, but I also wanted to see what each color tasted like. I was sad when coloring time was over.

Laundry

Elizabeth is a good helper. Today she was helping Mommy put the laundry away. She decided it would be fun to wear Mommy's shirt. It's a little big.

Another Crazy Hair Picture

This picture is for Daddy. He loves seeing my crazy hair after the bath.

Better Spoon

Mommy is giving me cereal and milk in the mornings for breakfast so I can practice using my spoon. I have a hard time keeping the food on the spoon before it gets to my mouth. This morning I found another spoon to eat my cereal with.

Dueling Banjos

Grandpa and Aunt Mary Ann played the banjo for me tonight. The banjo case makes the perfect seat for me. Earlier in the day I had fun dancing while Grandpa played Irish Washerwoman.

Ready to Work

Grandma and I went outside today to pull weeds in the native plant garden and water the flowers. I also helped her by picking up lava rocks and putting them in a cup, then I would dump them out and start all over again. I am having a lot of fun playing outside with her.

Lake Powell

On our trip to Idaho, we stopped for a break at Lake Powell. I loved walking around and sitting on the bench with Daddy. He taught me how to swing my legs.

Sunbeams

The 3 year old class at church are called the sunbeams. After Sacrament meeting, Elizabeth watched all the young children gather into the primary room. She decided to follow them, walking right up to the front of the room where the sunbeams were seated, climbed up into the chair and sat down. I guess she really wanted to be with big kids today. It was very cute.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day. Elizabeth woke up after Andrew today, which is unusual. We all piled into bed together and enjoyed the morning giving Daddy kisses for Father's Day. We sure are going to miss him while he is gone!!! (We took this picture before church so Daddy would have a current picture of Mommy and E...so he wouldn't forget us. Not thinking, we should of taken one with Daddy for Father's Day.)

Ten things I love about my Daddy:
1.He always plays with me when he gets home

7.He shares his jello with me
8.He plays with me during bath time
9.He is fun to dance with
10.He loves me

This Seasons Swimsuit

Grandma Ross sent me a swimsuit for the summer. Since we are going to Idaho for 2 months I probably won't have many opportunities to wear it, so Mommy is letting me wear it around the house today. I think it is pretty fun.

See What I Mean

She will climb on/in anything. This took her 3 seconds of me being distracted with Andrew to find her on the second shelf of the linen closet. Do other Mom's have this problem?

I love to Climb

Today I woke up and decided it was fun to climb on EVERYTHING! Beds, couches, chairs, end tables, toys, people. You name it, and I will try to climb on it. I even managed to climb up on the tall chairs at the kitchen counter. Mommy wasn't too impressed with that one. She is afraid I will fall. Here I am in Andrew's room. I love climbing on the bed.

Always into Something

I am very busy all day long. I am always into something. All week I have been getting into the pantry. It is really fun to hide behind the doors where no one can see me. There are also fun cans and boxes. But, Mommy and Daddy didn't like me in the pantry so they locked it up today. I bet I can find another fun place to play. Some place where I shouldn't be.

Three Years

Jeremy and I have been married 3 years today. The time has flown by and we have 2 beautiful children. We are very grateful for their sweet spirits and their happy dispositions. They are very special and we are thrilled to spend each day with them.

Jeremy and I feel very lucky and blessed each day. Jeremy has a good job that provides for our needs and allows me to be home where I need to be. I love being a mother. Watching Elizabeth and Andrew grow and learn new things is amazing.

Jeremy is such a good father. He is mindful of each of their needs and makes sure time is spent with each child every day. He also does a wonderful job of making me feel loved and appreciated. I hope he feels the same.

Two Piggy's

Mommy put my hair up in pigtails this morning. Daddy kept saying how cute I was. I also made the people in the store smile when they saw me. It definitely makes me look older.

Fat Lip

Mommy and I were playing around with a hat tonight when I fell and hit my mouth on a chair. I now have a fat lip. I was very brave and didn't cry very much. Mommy gave me an ice cube to put in my mouth so my lip would feel better. I love ice cubes. Mommy feels really bad about what happened, and promised to be more careful.

Off On, Off On

Daddy taught me how to work the light switch. I can reach it if I stand on the couch. So...every chance I get, I climb on the couch to turn the light on and off. Andrew flinches each time the light goes on, but I think it is funny. I think Daddy is rethinking his motivation behind teaching me how it works.
