Today is Elizabeth's half birthday. Words cannot express the joy and happiness she has brought into our home. This morning when we picked her up out of her crib she had the biggest smile on her face. She is constantly smiling, and when she smiles she does it with her entire face. Her eyes light up and her cheeks get big and round. It is definitely contagious. We love our E!

A Lot of Attention
My favorite Nevada family, the Marshalls came to visit us yesterday. Devon and Austin had fun playing with Elizabeth. She loved all the attention. Even when she was tired she kept smiling and giggling. It was fun to watch.

Oatmeal is GOOD
Elizabeth had her first taste of oatmeal today. Rice cereal doesn't agree with her stomach very well, so we are hoping oatmeal turns out a little better. She definitely liked the taste of it. She wanted to grab the spoon and hold the bowl. I could not get it in her mouth fast enough.

How many toys can I hold in one hand?
Elizabeth has really developed her hand coordination in the last week. She can now transfer items from one hand to the other. She also loves swinging toys that make noise. She will spend a great deal of time playing with toys and singing little songs.

My Hair is Growing
I tried combing Elizabeth's hair this morning after I got her dressed. It doesn't look like it helped. She rolled over once last week, but didn't do it again. Yesterday she decided it was a fun thing to do, so every time I looked over at her she had rolled onto her tummy. She gets upset after a few minutes though because she hasn't figured out how to roll back over.

Two Blowouts
I have had two major blowouts today. After the second one, my mom gave me a bath and put my pajamas on. I smell good now!

I'm Teething
Elizabeth is teething. She was fussy all day Sunday and did not want to eat. It has been the same way today. She will grab anything available to shove into her mouth that will massage her gums. This afternoon her shirt was completely soaked with drool. I will be glad when this is over. It looks like it hurts.

I Did It!!!
I rolled over on my tummy all by myself! It kind of took my mom by surprise, but she was so proud of me! She called Daddy right away to tell him, then took my picture.

Fun with Family
Elizabeth was showered with attention this weekend. At first she wasn't quite sure about it all, but loves playing with her cousins now. Grandma Olsen and Aunt Tami came to visit from Utah, so we all had a great time at the Bond household. We are very grateful for their kindness and hospitality.

Lazy 4th
It has been a lazy day here at the Olsen household. It has been nice to relax and have Daddy home. We will be staying inside watching movies this afternoon since it will be 116 outside.
The blanket around Elizabeth's head has become her favorite blanket. She has to have it up around her face. I have given her other blankets to use, but this one seems to be the best for soothing her to sleep.
Happy 4th of July!

Pine Arizona
We had a great weekend up in the mountains. It was fun to see Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Great Grandma Rossmiller. They decided that it is hot in Arizona on the 1st of July. On Saturday we went to see the Tonto Natural Bridge. Jeremy has read about it in a couple of hiking books. We would like to go back and hike when it gets a little cooler. Thanks for a fun weekend Grandma and Grandpa!
