Elizabeth is learning to talk. She has been babbling nonstop for a couple of weeks now with an occasional word here and there. On Monday she said her first full sentence for Daddy:
Hi, how are you?
She can also say "hi, Andrew" very clearly. Unfortunately, she cannot say her own name yet.
We are continually impressed at how smart she is. I will tell her it is time for a diaper change, and she will run to the bedroom and wait for me to lift her on the changing table. She will also point to the fridge when she wants a drink, and to the pantry for a snack. She also knows what it means to go for a walk.
While Grandma Johnson was here she worked to teach her about her eyes, nose, mouth, ears and feet. She now can point to those areas when asked. As a mother, I love watching her learn.
